Mandum Rimba has a sibling: Lam Rimba, a 3D conservation game where you step into the Indonesian rimba, rescue wildlife, nurse them back to health, return them to the wild, then heal the habitat. Both share one world, The Rimba Universe, and one simple belief: we cannot love what we do not know.

Lam Rimba will be free

It is built with Godot and, in its first phase, runs right on your phone, both iOS and Android. Free, so it can reach as many people as possible.

Why I opened the door to support

Mandum Rimba, the map you are looking at, needs a server, a domain, and the data pipeline that keeps it alive and up to date every day. Lam Rimba, the game, is a bigger world still: full of 3D assets, sound, animation, and many things that take both time and money. For the first time I am opening the door to support, so both can keep growing.

Where your support goes

• Assets and production, 3D models of the wildlife and its forest, animation, music, and sound, down to the small details that make the rimba feel alive. Some I build myself, some I have to buy or make with paid tools.
• Releasing to the app stores, the Apple App Store and Google Play developer accounts each carry their own registration fees. This is what lets Lam Rimba reach your phone, free to download.
• Running and upkeep, the servers, domains, and data pipeline that keep Mandum Rimba and Lam Rimba running and updated, day after day.
• Time to build it, most of my time and focus now goes here, tending this small rimba bit by bit until it is truly done.
